The PV industry is aggressively pursuing thinner wafers, narrower fingers,
higher throughputs and lower costs. A FabGrade inkjet printer is the silver
bullet for meeting and exceeding the industry’s roadmap for throughput, yield
and line width. Screen printing technology is falling behind on the industry’s
roadmap. Asking screen printers’ contact based technology to advance in
parallel in all areas, depositing narrower lines on thinner wafers at

available screen printer. In fact, Xjet’s printing is so fast it is limited by wafer
